I swear everytime I hear a UGOd I be thinking the same thing Meth jsut said: look at the answers you give!!!

The director was a dikkhead.

Meth said that 10 minutes after this clip, he and U-ey are cracking jokes and smiling with each other.

Piece of shyt director opted to not show that part,
I think I read that one of the museums is going to set aside affordable housing for hip hop pioneers.

Hope that happens. But between the time of that post and today, a number of significant artists have passed away, and their families have reached out for help.

Makes practical sense to have rotating instructor/lecturer positions about a genre from the living pioneers.
Otherwise, it's some vulture shyt,

That point aside, UGod still be giving bittter interviews and shyt sounding like a mad rapper. And I understand why and he has a reason to be because when it was his turn to go, rza switched up the plan and that affected his pockets deeply but he still just always sound mad when he talks. The type of person whose interview isn’t going to be interesting or entertaining unless he’s throwing somebody under the bus or goin at somebody. Negative vibes. In general I love Wu interviews and listening to what they have to say because they’re intelligent and usually have something profound or interesting to say. Or they’re charismatic and entertaining to listen too. Not so much with U-God.

Uey is definitely charismatic and entertaining. He's just a grouch. It's not always bitter, it's just the way he talks. His own doc was hilarious, his Jack Thriller interview was hilarious and entertaining, when he was doing promo runs for his book, he was hilarious. His own podcast was highly entertaining. The rest of the Clan don't take anything he says personal or serious.

I knew he and Meth were close by The way they were arguing, like brothers would.
I also figured, from the first album skits that Meth appeared to be the little man if the crew. Him being the breakout star had to have shaken up that view of him. shyt was funny to watch, but they should have showed the whole picture.

*"director was a minor actor, white dude that older heads might remember from this series

UGOD was the man on a street level so he had a hard time adjusting to his positioning not being at the top in the clan

he always used to try and lil man meth on some back in the day shyt. a lot of them did. it was ego.

ODB was also competitive with Meth

It reminded me of Redman saying he doesn't fukk with 'Dare Iz A Darkside'.

It will always be my favourite album by him, but hearing him talk about the shyt he was doing/ going through while he was making it was :picard:

I love Dare Iz too but knowing that, its what makes Muddy Waters his Best cause Red sounded so Clear and Aggressive on it....even more than on Dare and Whut?

I hear that, but the U God Vlad Interview was dope.

Him talking about being influenced by Malcolm Maclean's Buffalo girls fukked my head up in the best way.

AND his book is incredibly written!

To the point I'm concerned with how well other rappers will write theirs.

@Get These Nets come on why call the director a dikk if he gave us that classic scene of brotherly love that almost looked like it was going to pop off - but didn't?

I see what you mean tho.

Didn't know there was a laughing scene after. Here's to hoping it comes out!

@PlayerNinety_Nine I only saw Red say he was on heavy drugs and his friend died during Darkside - which is my fav too.

He also said girls keep telling him it's their favorite but he doesn't want to revisit it.

Did he go in more detail other than that?
