Only in if it's R, co-written by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg and doesn't have Melissa McCarthy (or at least has her acting funny, can't have another Tammy )
Paul Feig did Bridesmaids and The Heat. He had success in the past, but those were his true breakouts, and they were thanks to Melissa McCarthy. There's like a 10% shot she won't be in this, and that'll only be because the internet backlash will be so heavy, the studio will force his hand
His next movie is a Melissa McCarthy vehicle as well. they're attached at the hip
women are funny, but the funniest woman would rank like 20th on a list of "funniest people alive." Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Wiig, etc are all plenty funny... just not "carry a classic franchise from my childhood for no reason" funny.
This is as good an idea, as the show with the all female sports panel. Who in the fukk is watching that? I don't even believe women wanted that.
