I'm just saying that all the npc's attacking at the same time might not nessarily be realistic depending on the enemy given the historical context. I don't know of huns or whoever subscribed to the honor way of fighting, but samurai did, and would challenge people to duels. They even state in the gameplay video that you can challenge npc's to a duel red dead style.

ya I’m not necessarily disagreeing w/ you...it just looked like regular video game mechanics to me from the very brief clip I saw when I watched it again...I’m holding off all judgments til the game is out and I’ve read more reviews/seen more gameplay vids

So, it seems from the teasers on Twitter that some gameplay elements were held back from advertising.

I’m guessing in hopes to surprise players. There is talk that the side quest are really engaging not just fetch quest. Also, it was stated that the 2018 E3 Demo was just a side quest.

This could be good way to market the game where not a lot is revealed for the game and we can genuinely be surprised when playing.

We will have to see how this plays out in the next few days.

It’s being marketed. Saw a commercial of it last night on ESPN. There’s a lot of commercial on social media and YouTube as well.
