Bought the game a few weeks ago and finished story yesterday. Glad I waited got it cheaper and it looks clean on ps5. I enjoyed the game, but I can't ignore how it's basically assassin's creed: samurai. Easily better than that last assassin's creed though.

I'm about 15 hours in, still on Act 1. Been doing every mission I can and loving it so far. Sure it's been talked about but the Japanese voice overs >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> the English ones. The tone and quality feels like two different games.

I wasn't feeling this game at first mostly due to the annoying wind navigation mechanic and getting around. I get what they are trying to do but there's a lot of times where i have to get off a horse, climb down a mountain, get back on the horse, climb down again, vice versa etc. an optional compass/direction blimp was too much to ask for?
Things got fun for me when i finished the first act and went back and did all the side tales and liberated Izuhara
Once i learned what stance for what type of enemy, the game got really fun and addictive. After i liberated Izuhara more question marks showed up so ima knock those out before i go on to the second act.

There's a couple things i didn't like about this game but ya seem like ya love it so i'll save it. I copped back in Nov for $40 or $45. If a sequel were to be released i wouldn't cop day 1. I'll say its more of preference than the quality of this game.

Almost wrapping this game up now. It's pretty good, but nothing really classic to me. I absolutely hate having to control the camera during combat.
