Agreed. The Mongol invasion of Japan is one part of history I am not familiar with. But yea the world does seem empty like a Far Cry game.

Can't lie, something is telling me to wait on this one
that could be to do with a complete lack of actual gameplay
Looking forward to this more than any other game. I kinda grew out of the arcadey cartoony fantasy type games. Like them to be grounded in reality now.
Games like LA Noire, and Red Dead Redemption 2 are examples of the type of games i like. Character are just regular people, no super powers, monsters, or health bars.
I'm hoping this is more like Red Dead with Samurai's than some Dark Souls Sekiro type shyt. I get bored just fighting people nonstop for 40 hours.
I need more games like that too in different genres. i like to get immersed in a different lifestyle. not sim like per say though, cause i do like plenty of action. I not gonna have fun being a taxi driver for 40 hours, but i do like to break up the action with slower parts.

That's a major L if they make something as shallow as Second Son with the 5 years they had to play with
I think them NOT doing an infamous game shifts in their favor. It was a beautiful game, but the character did nothing for me especially coming from Cole.
Yea, Second Son was an extremely boring game unlike the first two. I know it was really an early PS4 launch title but the story really did not do anything for me.

i can see folks being ehh..only because IMO you can't be delaying shyt and then not giving like a 2 minute gameplay vid or a new trailer as a make up for it.
