Nioh isnt even hard. It's just grindy. Once you get to level 60 or so, and have the right gear you are only dying because of stupid mistakes. Enemies don't ramp up in difficulty to match your increase in abilities. At best some hit harder.

Personally I'm hoping for western hybrid of tenchu and Ninja gaiden

If you are playing Nioh slow and measured like a souls game, you are doing it wrong. A massive waste of the amazing combat system.

Nioh is still a team ninja game, just with stamina limitations. You can play the game rushdown fine, just master KI pluse first.

For a lot of the encounters yes, but not all. The boss battles you need patience for. And there is no one way to play the game.

It being a SP game guarantees the traversal with be fantastic. Glad they are getting to do something different.

This game will definitely be on my radar but I'm hoping stealth isn't a major component of it. I can't stand stealth games.
