Starting act 2 now...

seeing the Togo rice fields burning

I wonder if next gen we will finally get a game where we randomly pull up on battles, not little fights like 3v3 or 5v5, but like 30 vs 30 and shyt like that and we can jump in to help or help a town defend itself from an invading attack randomly and shyt. I really think a lot of games don't do justice to the war theme they try to give off. Have yet to play an open world game set during a war, where the world actually felt at war, granted Ghost of Tsushima has it's moments but it could still be better.
The first battle of the game is like that :gucci:

So according to the creative director, the weather isnt only influenced by your flute, but also by whether or not you embrace the "ghost" persona. Frequent use of "dishonorable" tactics via the Ghost skill tree will result in the island reflecting that symbolic darkness.

Samurai = sunny, clear weather.
Ghost = ominious, foreboding weather.

Not a scripted event bro, like randomly walk up on it while you are exploring. I have the same issue with this game(to a lesser extent to be fair) that I had with Assassins Creed Odyssey, for these game worlds to supposeldy be war torn or in the middle of a war, they don't FEEL at war. All these survivor camps and yet they never get attacked? Farmsteads still up and running, and the Mongols aint attacking them. Why when I take over a fort do the Mongols not try to retake it? The Mongols aint going through occupied cities trying to round up resistance fighters? There is so much more they can do with this than a scripted huge battle from time to time.

I feel you but I have come across mongols and bandits randomly just run up on a small town/village a few times.

Yea I noticed my sound system was going off scaring the dog with the thundering and the darkness specially when I got my long bow. I was having fun tho clearing out mongol camps like a I was Solid Snake.

I did notice all my battles seemed to be at night for some reason. But it's because I'm playing the game like Batman: Arkham Asylum
