can’t speak to the first part...as for the fighting tho...right now it’s block...parry/dodge...quick strike...heavy strike...and a sort of heavy jab move...you learn more fighting styles/stances as you move on...as someone said make no mistake about it...it’s a sucker punch game...oddly enough it reminds me of spider-man which heavily reminded me of infamous

yes the fighting sequences and enemy types seem “repetitive” so far...that’s not always a negative tho...just depends on what you like...personally I can see myself not getting tired of this by game’s end...especially since I know there’s more to learn...on the other hand I would understand why some may get bored after 10-15 hours if things do not switch up drastically...but so far exactly what I’ve seen in games previews is exactly what I’ve gotten so far in the game...it’s not a one button masher tho...like the games I mentioned before...how a fight goes down depends on how you approach it

how does this compare to Sekiro, though?

it really doesn’t outside of the setting be japan and both protagonists wielding swords

the swordplay is far more forgiving in this game tho...timing is not essential to blocking...there’s more room for mistakes

Thanks. I'm definitely copping tomorrow then.
