That's what i'm saying. His bad moments are so bad it taints his good ones. i still don't get how people like One Mic. people actually think that's a great record.

I Am has some of his worst shyt ever. Nastradamus was weak in general but i don't recall the lows being as painful as I Am's. It was more of a steady, measured dose of mediocrity. Even Preemo's contribution was bland.

Honestly I think once you bring in unreleased material its a wrap.
I just said it over in the OG BPW thread but Ghostface has the best unreleased catalogue in hip hop

That had Cappa on it too. And it didn't feel as dominated by Rae as Cuban Linx did by Ghost. EVERYONE was saying Ghost owned Cuban Linx at the time. EVERYONE.

I believe he has 3 classics too, ironman supreme clientale and fishscale

But he is officially the only artist I know of with this longevity and no garbage albums

you can sift through the bad songs though. the i am era was one of nas' best periods counting the unreleased work, and minus the few dr.knock boots and big things here and there.

You think GZA's solo catalog is stronger than Ghost's?

I think you could make an argument that Liquid Swords is better than Ironman or Supreme Clientele...but if you take anyone in the Wu's 3 best albums and line them up no one is seeing Ghost except for maybe Rae, simply because on Linx 2 and Shaolin vs. Wu-Tang he came back strong.

If anything I'd like to see what people think about

Ironman, Supreme Clientele, Fishscale vs. Cuban Linx, Cuban Linx 2, Shaolin vs. Wu-Tang

GFK is one of the GOATs.

Theres so many rappers, its hard to make a case for everybody to be top 10.

Cats like Q-Tip, Redman, Common, & Black Thought get overlooked too. Not to mention oldschool rappers like LL, Kane, G Rap, KRS, & Slick Rick. As long as top 10 lists revolve around Jay, Nas, Em + dead rappers like Pac, BIG, & either Pun or Big L theres no way for Ghost to get the props he's owed.

Ghost is my 2nd fav mc behind Nas but I'd only call Ironman and Supreme Clientele "classic" records...the rest are really dope, solid records

That said, factoring in his verses on OB4CL, Wu group albums and other unreleased material, he is EASILY in the discussion for most consistent and one of he GOAT

Nas is my GOAT, but ghost is my favorite rapper and imo has the best catalog of anyone. I honestly think that up until big doe rehab he hadn't made a single bad song (BDR was good, but first time he had some skippable songs). As big mel said even the r&b album was good. I did think he sort of fell off a bit around the time of wu massacre but he was good in that wu project they did last year (underrated album too, everyone did well)

What's up with ghosts unreleased material? I don't think I heard any other than the bulletproof wallet unreleased songs, but you guys are gassing the shyt up like its Nas level. What have I been missing?

But even without all that Ghost is the best out of wu by quite a bit. He also basically saved their legacy with SC. Even the huge wu fans weren't feeling beneath the surface or immobilarity, and tical 2000 was meh. He proved with SC that they could still bring it.

Ghost got so many songs that aren't really his or never really get credited entirely to him (wu collabs/etc). When nas on a track I notice he would get instant recognition, something ghost don't get for collabin with wu so much.
