Gza's catalog has been treated kindly by time. Nothing mind blowing when they were released but if you go back they're all qulaity....even Pro Tools. Grandmasters was insane though right off the rip.

Also, watch Ghost drop another monster when Supreme Clientele 2 happens. Apollo Kids was a 'fukk you' to def jam full of mixtape scraps and it still went hard.

As solo Wu member Ghost Def has the best catalog throw in OB4CL and there is no compaing. (GZA is probably the closest)

Rea couldn't keep up, Meth imo doesn't even have a classic solo he is argueably the most popular one of the crew.

But Ghost's Illmatic is SC the rest are damn near classic up to Fishscale. From More to present those are very good.

i think pro tools is the only gza album i don't still listen to. might have to pick it up again.

i love 'paper plate' so much. that diss is the best diss record i've heard since i've been an adult. plus there's some dope Black Milk beats and Ka's solo song is crazy. it's a solid effort even if he's sounding sleepy. his bars always blow my mind.

Nas has many duds. Krs had trouble in the early 00's and put out a bunch of albums with d list production.

if Ghost's biggest ccrime is Wizard Of Poetry, an album that was full of quality R&B songs--his objective from jump, then he's sitting at the top of the hill.

Solo artists???

Redman has 3 back-to-back classics. Jay is close.

If you count groups we can throw in Mobb and Outkast, they both have 3 classics.

I'd respectfully disagree with my man Big Mel and say if you count Nas features and unreleased material that he's up there too. Illmatic, IWW, and Lost Tapes. I know Mel doesn't think IWW or Stillmatic are classics but I think in totality of songs Nas is up there.

fukk it Raekwon is close to Ghost. No one addressed my comment about Linx 2 and S. vs. Wu. Immobilarity fukked with Rae's legacy for a long time but he more than made up for it on Linx 2 and S. vs. Wu is a solid 4 mics.

Rae has been holding Wu up since 2009 while Ghost has been on autopilot.

as for the Nas thing....yeah, he has a lot of quality songs recorded during his controversial period, but he has as many if not more abominations recorded too. that's what i find most disturbing about him in these discussions.

My biggest thing with Nas is that his bad records are BAD. Like when he does have a misstep it's a huge misstep. Stillmatic got 5 Mics but Braveheart Party? My Country and Rule were corny too.

God's Son had a couple WTF moments.

I stick with Illmatic, IWW, and Lost Tapes being undeniable classics though.
