No, you said "if you want to distort what my people are doing here."

What was being distorted?

The efforts MY people are putting in America to make it a land for us, especially offensive coming from Islanders and Africans who have their own structural issues.

How are the efforts being "distorted"?

By claims from Africans and Islanders like you who claim those efforts lead to nowhere, despite there being more tangible gains than the very places you promote.

I think you're right. I'd give it 200-300 more years myself. We should be fine.

Is massively underserved in energy causing weeks to month long blackouts in its urban regions

Question, do you believe the reports about Akon supplying 600 million people with electricity?

That's over half of Africa's total population. I think it's garbage and a complete exaggeration and misinterpretation of words that white people and unaware blacks ran with to play up the "Africa is a barren wasteland" stereotype.

I'm pretty sure Akon means he's bringing an alternative SOLAR source of electricity to 600 million Africa, not the concept of electricity itself :mjlol:

i really dont get it, it's not just @bdizzile either. we've got posters from canada and uk that pull this shyt too.

I hear you but are most blacks in the Caribbean not the descendants of slaves that just got dropped off at a different locale than the US? Same for UK and Canada?

Many over there could be descendants of Ghana and many other West African countries.

It is being funded by the World Bank and if you know their work in Africa then you can expect that good things won't come when they are involved.

At the end of the Lighting Africa project, I could see a few million Africans now having light post on their roads and less blackouts but the continent will be massively underserved until they create a sensible grid. I doubt the project is being contracted out to Africans, either.

I didn't say any of this. Non-AA Blacks need to focus on their own communities.

If you want to distort what my people are doing here in America then I will lay the facts out about each of your communities for you to see and cry about.

If I didn't want to see these places do well then I would not be as informed on them as I am, but some of you are completely delusional about the reality.

You know I'm not from Africa, right ? If you want to talk about my community then I'll help you. I'm from Guadeloupe. French owned island. Go ahead.

I have no problem with you wanting to better the African American community. I've never said such a thing in my comment. The only thing I want you to do, is to be careful about how you talk about Africa. Because that ancestor of yours and that ancestor of mine who were taken from their Motherland, came from there.

So please, calm down with the bashing.

Of the 600 million implied, how many African's would you estimate to legit not have electricity?

Also, why do you seem to dislike carribean blacks when the majority of us(I'm half. Mom is Bajan.) are still slave descendants?

I'm usually with you on most thighs but here I'm confused breh :lupe:
