Either that or he just gained to much wieght between fights, he looked heavy and bulky on fight night. He’s looking much better, like his old self before fights.

I predict if he looks fast and sharp Saturday then the fight in September doesn’t happen.
I don't know what to make of it. GB is talking like it will happen and GGG has sounded like it wont. I think that is just the frustration talking. I think cash will reign supreme amd we see the rematch in September.

:mjlol: Who do you think Triple G would seriously fight, to jeopardize that Canelo pay day? Just a refresher, Canelo is naturally smaller than Triple G, a cheating fakkit, who started at 147, with no gas tank.........who gave Triple G his hardest/2nd hardest fight.

Just in case y'all forgot what that cheating homo did, and Triple G's love of fighting guys naturally smaller than him/cans.

Bhop as great as he was is in absolutely no position to talk down on GGG's MW resume in comparison to his own MW resume :heh:

exactly

save for a couple of fights, his middleweight reign was the definition of career mode. :mjlol:

He still an ATG and I respect him, but I hope this subject never hits the podcast, cuz I'm gonna go the fukk in.

What’s his best win at middleweight, Trinidad? He only fought 5 times and was 3-2 at middleweight.

Danny Jacobs at 160>> anyone on Hopkins resume at 160.

Photos: Golovkin, Martirosyan - Ready For Cinco De Mayo War
World middleweight champion Gennady "GGG" Golovkin tipped the scales right on the limit at 160 pounds on Friday as he chases a record-equalling title defense against Vanes Martirosyan in Los Angeles. Photos by Tom Hogan/Hoganphotos.

The unbeaten Kazakh star can equal Bernard Hopkins' record of 20 successful defenses of the middleweight crown on Saturday when he faces the Los Angeles-based Martirosyan at the StubHub Center.

Martirosyan emerged as a last-minute opponent for Golovkin after Mexico's Saul "Canelo" Alvarez withdrew from their scheduled May 5 rematch in Las Vegas after failing a drugs test.

Martirosyan, who normally fights at light middleweight, will be stepping up a division to face the hard-hitting Golovkin, who is unbeaten through 38 fights, including 33 by knockout.

The Armenia-born Martirosyan (36-3 with one drawn and 21 knockouts) weighed in slightly lighter than Golovkin at 159.6 pounds.

Bookmakers have made Golovkin a short-odds favorite against Martirosyan, whose last fight came roughly two years ago and ended in a unanimous points defeat to Erislandy Lara.

Although Golovkin middleweight belts include the World Boxing Association, World Boxing Council and International Boxing Federation versions of the title, only the WBA and WBC belts will be on the line on Saturday.

GGG had been looking a little drawn his last couple weigh ins. Didn't look like it at all this time around. fukk Canelo, cause GGG looks like he was getting in supreme shape for that fight.

I guess Martirosyan will take that beating reserved for Canelo.
