I just don't see how beating up substitute teachers is impressive. And he is 32 already, with that resume he should have 50+ fights under his belt. I will get a better gauge this weekend when he fights a D+ fighter.

dont equate slow feet with bad footwork. he uses his footwork efficiently, so he doesn't need to be fast. because he moves his feet methodically, creates good angles, and is a master at distance.

if you really understand and study boxing, you'd understand that GGG is the real deal. hes more than just a power shot, his technique is solid. His killer amateur record shows that.


On the downside, i worry that his power is actually a detriment to him kinda the way mike tyson's was. Towards the middle and end of his career, Mike Tyson stopped using his technique, thinking he could just steamroll eveyrone with his power, and he developed bad habits. we all saw how that worked out for him.

GGG's power can give him the same downfall as well. However, at this time, I can't see anyone except maybe ward being a threat to him. Anyone remotely close in weight to GGG is gonna get smashed on.

They say that GGG gotta spar god damn heavyweights cuz no one remotely close to his weight class can handle the power. And even scarrier, no one close to his weight class can even hurt him or get him to respect the power so he gotta bang and train with heavyweights!
