He misses wide open receivers. He's awful in terms of accuracy for YAC. He pump fakes for no reason. Constantly stares down his first read. Turns the ball over at the worst possible times. Has zero touch on screens or short passes. He's not very good.

That's what kills me and what I HATED about Chad Pennington. His inability to keep players in stride based on his throws.

Either Matt Cavinaugh isn't teaching this kid or he just doesn't get it, because his mechanics can get so out of wack at times, it's disturbing.

Well from what everyone said at USC, Matt had perfect mechanics and was a quick learner. I remember reading that several times back in the day. Seems like the coaches in NY has stagnated his progress. Put him with Sean Payton or Andy Reid and would probably turn into a beast.

His hands didn't prevent the Jets from going though, looking at his performance in both those games.

Had more to do with the dumb ass playcalling

He was fukking horrendous in the first half of the Steelers game, put up zero points and gave the Steelers points.

That one was on him, that little "comeback" on the soft defense they were playing in the 2nd half meant nothing

The Jets defense inability to stop the run was the biggest problem in the first half, Sir closet Jets fan.

How bout tanny get this guy some talent instead :youngsabo:

i agree. Let's hope Tanny gets that started asap once the offseason starts by bringing in a new GM and getting rid of the current one

Umm, the NY Jets team has a lot of holes. Sanchez is only one player. And, they were playing a "better" team. You could have replaced Sanchez with Eli Manning and the Jets still would have lost.

Sanchez is the most important player on the team and he happens to suck. That's a problem.

My Pops Forever RIP
Last time I checked, Sanchez was still developing. Yes, teams succeed with less than stellar situations. But I've never seen a QB play great, consistent ball with no receivers, no running game, no oline, shyt play calling and no confidence from his coaching staff. Is Fez good? No, but he's serviceable. Some a yall expect way too much out of him for what he has to work with.

Jets O is BAD and it has as little to do with Fez than most think. Jets should draft a QB in the offseason, but I don't think they should bail on Fez just yet. If I were him, though..I'd probably ask for a trade.

Serviceable simply isn't good enough. Honestly, people wouldn't trip off him being "serviceable" if he wasn't a top 5 pick that they traded up to get him. In fairness to him, he doesn't have the best stuff to work with, but once upon a time he had plenty to work with and fukked it up.

Let's say we fired the GM and rebuilt him the offense. What's the upside? Where's the gain? 4 years going, a good game for him is a game where he throws 180 yards and doesn't fukk up. In other words, when he is at best, he's still not the most important player in the offense and it is incredibly tough to win Superbowls that way.

Sanchez might not be the best QB but his weapons on offense are :scusthov:

the weapons angle is overrated....good QB's make their weapons.
How is it overrated?? They are a ground and pound team who until 2 weeks ago couldn't run the ball, his TE's been injured all year, his WR's :smh: wouldn't be starting for damn near any other team.

It's so easy for Jet's fan to call out Sanchez. Your organization is a fukking joke! Your D is overrated and your GM clown. The biggest splash he made was get Tebow to do what?? Come in every once in awhile and run right up the gut :rudy:. Jets beat up on the bum teams and when they face anyone with talent get smoked :smoker:

You're full of shyt, Trip.

If you watched the tape I watched, outside of Kerley and now Keller, none of these guys know how to create their own space.

Steve Hill wasnt creating space on those comeback routes?

Lets be honest, put Sanchez on an all star team and he's still the same shytty QB.He had weapons in 2010 and still sucked. He is what he is.That doesnt mean Tannebaum has done a good job..but its nearly impossible to win a title with a QB that holds the team back with poor decision making.
