So now there's "a lot" of Jets fans who said this?

I bet there are more people who heard a Jets fan say Mark is a top ten QB than there are Jets fans that say Mark is a top ten qb.

Bottomline is, you cats make a few sound like the majority.

Well if somebody knows 5 Jets fans and 4 of em are high on the guy, that's what the person goes off of.

Then add in sports radio to boot

Here's the thing....why is it that only you guys seem to know these people, yet with the tons of Jets fans on his board, they don't seem to reflect that?

First its not a huge vacum of Jets fans who called Sanchez a top 10 qb....now there is and suddenly "well I heard it on sports radio" is proof.

:rudy:

No one who thought Mark Sanchez was a top 10 NFL QB at any point in his career should be taken seriously. I've had a few 49ers fans try to tell me Alex Smith is elite, I just give them the :mjpls: and keep it moving.

See....you'd dismiss them.

The Last Emp would make them represent most Jets fans.

There's probably 10-15 Jets fans on this board. How that is "tons" I do not know

The board nor the group of people we know reflect the majority.

I never said Jets fans called him a top 10 QB, but I do know they over-rated him

If I'm Mark Sanchez I'm asking to be traded some damn where else. Not only has he had the NYC media on his back for the last few years, now he has Tebow and ESPN as a network praying for his downfall. :sadcam:

Where the hell have you been before Tebow? Sanchez got shytted on before that.

And don't you think Sanchez not being good enough is a big reason why we're not in the same league as these other teams?

Nobody wants Tebow. We know Tebow has no future here. We just also know Fez doesn't either and we want the team to recognize that.

I'm well aware y'all have been shytting on him for years. Sanchez is definitely part of the problem but you saying he's a big reason just points to the absolute delusion of certain Jets fans. The ineptitude of your coaching staff/front office, lack of talent at the skill positions, inability to protect the quarterback, bad play-calling and the loss of Darrelle Revis are all equally to blame for you guys not being in the same league as the best teams. Some of you (since I guess I have to say some of you for it to be obvious I'm not talking about every Jet fan on the planet) put all of the shyt that's wrong with this team on Sanchez and it's getting tired as hell.

And there are Jets fans in this very thread saying give him a shot, so I don't know what you're talking about saying "Nobody wants Tebow". And if you get your wish and the coaching staff realizes Sanchez isn't the answer who do you think is starting? Tebow. And I fully agree Sanchez has no future with the Jets. I've said many times he should request a trade and go to a team that might actually give a fukk and try and help dude develop into something. But I don't see what that has to do with threads shytting on him midseason for losses against teams nobody expected him to win. It's the same bullshyt tactic ESPN uses to shyt on your team and promote the QB controversy they wanted since the preseason and y'all are falling for it. Predict the Pats are gonna blow out the Jets, then pile on Sanchez for his mistakes in a game that went to OT due to Sanchez's performance. Then when he wins games it's either ignored or "Oh, it was just the Bills".

I can't speak for every Jet fan, but I've seen teams win without having the best running game. I've seen teams succeed with an awful defense. I've seen teams have one really good WR and shyt else at the position and still do well. I've seen teams with with bad O-Lines. That has to do with the QB being good enough to overcome such things. Fez can't. Now, are the other issues on this team a problem? Absolutely, and Tannenbaum deserves to lose his job over it and hopefully he will. That doesn't mean the team needs to start over around Mark. The payoff to doing that isn't there. The difference between the other problems on this team and Mark is that we all know those are problems that need to be addressed and will be addressed. When is it time to cut bait? Do we have to give him 4 more years to figure it out?

Nobody wants Tebow though. Jets fans really would have McElroy. The guys here that want Tebow only want Tebow for the fukkery that will follow. Tebow just gets Sanchez out of the mix and I can live with that. However, the only true Tebow backer on the Jets is the owner, so the possibility of getting a different QB is there if Tebow's starting. The staff won't even entertaining benching Fez at the moment.

As for the team, you're right. They haven't lost a game they were supposed to win, they haven't won a game they were supposed to lose. They are where they're supposed to be. My problem is that this team needs to not be there and must make changes. I even said this year around draft time, the Jets have more holes than they can fix in a year. It takes time. It'll take a new GM, a new coaching game plan and internal development to the young guys. Waiting on Sanchez to get better just doesn't seem worth it.

He does the best he can with what he has. His best receiver is out. And with that he is in his 30s. Revis gone. Keller was out. Greene is busted up. Unknown receivers. Tim tebow on his neck. I mean damn.

Keller played yesterday man. He does what he can I guess, but he makes a stupid mistake at the end of games it seems that costs them quite a few times a year, even when his team is healthy he seems to F up at key times. He is a good QB and thats where it stops. His decision making is horrible at times, his IQ low at times. He has a great arm and is very talented and just can't seem to put it all together.

Last time I checked, Sanchez was still developing. Yes, teams succeed with less than stellar situations. But I've never seen a QB play great, consistent ball with no receivers, no running game, no oline, shyt play calling and no confidence from his coaching staff. Is Fez good? No, but he's serviceable. Some a yall expect way too much out of him for what he has to work with.

Jets O is BAD and it has as little to do with Fez than most think. Jets should draft a QB in the offseason, but I don't think they should bail on Fez just yet. If I were him, though..I'd probably ask for a trade.

He misses wide open receivers. He's awful in terms of accuracy for YAC. He pump fakes for no reason. Constantly stares down his first read. Turns the ball over at the worst possible times. Has zero touch on screens or short passes. He's not very good.
