Shouldn't have come here, lol. I think Jordan left him in the sunken place because not everyone can be saved. Even with Chris breaking that fukking cup, killing the family, & escaping the sunken place; still not everyone can go home.

Omg I don't know what I would have done with Logan being stuck and Chris going to prison. I just don't wan to even consider it.

No, their consciousness is still intact, they don't technically "swap brains", just insert a piece of the white man's consciousness into the black man and that white consciousness CONTROLS the black man. It's a deep metaphor when you think of it.

But, the fail-safe is the brainwashing of that black consciousness, due to such a flash to wake that consciousness up, because it's still there. The whole reason the "grandpa" killed himself is because no matter WHAT, that piece of that white consciousness will be forever be in him.

Did anybody present the idea already that Peele made this movie to express his first, full-fledged metaphorical process of interracial dating his White wife?

That's low-key genius on both ends of the racial stereotype spectrum. He used the movie to speak on his behalf without having to jeopardize his standing and be made a fool out in mass media. What has me is this movie is allegorical - to how he felt about meeting his White fiancee's family the first time.



White people know he feels, but don't get his personal experience as a context, Black people no longer need to wonder if he's a "New Black c00n" or not. He pretty much used a White woman, to reaffirm his views as a Black man being scrutinized in modern times in America.

Fantastic writing from a mixed nikka, this obliterated White liberal racism. He put in the frame of White conservative racism, to show there's no difference between how they treat us as Black man. Politics don't save us, they turn us against each other.

Liberals used Psychoanalysis, conservatives used Assimilation, either way is systematic to the White power structure.

Peele has a white mother. His wife was raised by a black step-mother (who she speaks very highly of). I don't think this story has anything to do with him at all. His current existence is a dichotomy all over the place. He just learned how to drive about two years ago (true New Yorker).

In fact, after watching it a few times, it felt like a nuanced, modernized body snatchers movie. Yes, there are all sorts of social messages, but the reality of this film is that he wanted to make a horror movie. If he made the same story with physically fit white people, it would not have the same impact. The racial element raised the stakes so to speak. This was an exceptionally well done movie for 9 million. Peele is really gifted.

I guess they were willing to find the movie vs. Apple. I was expecting to see a random iPod rival pop up or be mentioned.
