On the old episodes, they used to drink. Now, they drink, smoke, and do edibles before & during the show. Most of the guys can handle it, but Kraig is usually faded by the commercial break.
That's another reason they need somebody like Brandyn who is able to maintain a level of decorum and professionalism.

To add on, one of the first times he got stuck like that, Dwann mentioned it was from the edible he gave him. He definitely one of the bigger proponents of edibles and weed on the show so I don’t feel to far off in thinking he is the one who is bringing them. I could be wrong though and Kraig is getting them on his own or someone else is bringing them, but having to wrap up the show early multiple times because he can’t finish ain’t really a good look.
