This happened in my hometown. Allegedly the sheriffs son has a part in it all. It's so many stories out there tho. I know they've been protesting weekly at city hall. But that's Valdosta for you. That place is ran by old money like the Langdales and stuff. Hell, the former sheriff was the towns biggest dope dealer. Dude stays on an estate that's waaaaaay out of small town sheriffs salary. Went to school with his daughter at Lowndes. She'd have to catch a ride from the house to the street to catch the bus. You tell me, how does a sheriff by an entire project complex? Or a cat that was deep in the game get his house raided and while they burst into the back of the home, he walks out the front pass deputies. That's why I don't ever go back. White folks run that pos place and nikkas are satisfied with just hustling and being country rich. Plus I got my car torn apart during a search because I had out of state tags and was hanging around some notorious dope boys in town. They was just my people's I grew up with and nothing more to it.

i grew up in valdosta and can cosign that lowndes county police got a reputation as the nastiest and grimiest police in the area...they go extra hard since they right on the florida border, shyt's crazy

but yeah i went to lowndes high and even though i haven't been back to the city in some years when this was all over facebook the first thing i thought was he got killed, then seeing the picture of his face was just

There is one county in GA im not going to mention that has a sheriff and all the dope that runs through this county goes through him. Farming down here is a big front as well.

that's damn near every county in southern GA...i know my county and the 3 surrounding ones are pretty much ran by the sheriffs since we got no mayors, and they do whatever they want

i hope this case gets more attention so hopefully they can change up the power system down there, like @Lucky_Lefty i haven't been back to valdosta except for 1 visit and i moved away like 8 years ago...it's just too fukked up down there, and seeing nikkas i grew up with stuck in that shyt be havin me throwed off

I heard about this story a few months ago but I didn't pay too much attention to it until now. I wrestled in high school and, trust me, it's impossible for anyone over 100lbs to get accidentally stuck in a rolled-up wrestling mat like that.

Edit: found a picture of this kid's dad trying to squeeze into one of the mats. I can't imagine the mat standing upright and a 17 year old football player getting stuck inside.
