A month from today would make it 14 years since I moved to the ATL, and I still never been to Lake Lanier. And I still don't plan on going, especially after what I'm just learning through this thread. Speaking of haunting, I have experienced some strange things as soon as I moved in my house down here. However I haven't experienced anything that really stood out since 2010. But I did experience some weird things a few years ago, like not being able to find items for weeks after searching like crazy, then suddenly having them reappear on my dinning room table. Actually, this particular item went missing for a few months. This same thing happened with my house keys about three or four years before that incident, when they suddenly reappeared on my bedroom dresser, after not being able to find them for two weeks. When that other item reappeared after a fews months, that's when I began to realize these items disappearing then suddenly returning was real. But these two disappearing incidents still wasn't as mind blowing as what I experienced when I first moved here in 2006, and what happened again in 2010. Actually this same thing first happened in 2005, right before I moved from the DMV. All three of those incidents involved my house keys as well.
I did find out several years ago that I live near an old slave cemetery, which is about a half of mile down the main road that leads to my subdivision. Knowing that, I don't know what could be buried on the grounds around here, including the grounds my property is built on. And something tells me I don't want to find out. Btw, my house was new, and I still experienced these weird phenomena's. If I didn't experience what I did in 2005 up in the DMV, in a house that was also new, I would have tried putting all this on the South being haunted.
