Be honest b. You wanted this dude to win so fukking bad to punch left, but he lost. You gonna punch left no matter what. I'm tired of yall and discussing this tbh.
:pachaha: anybody that didnt vote for trump, romney or mccain the last couple of elections should have wanted him to win. because if he did whether you are a "neoliberal" or a Bernie-Fearing American your interests would have been able to be pushed a little more

lets hope that one day the bernie bros realize a dem winning only helps them because the climate will be more open to their own ideas

"Free" college and single payer = raising taxes. Good luck selling that to people. Especially rich folk:pachaha:

When are you idiots going to realize nobody cares about policy. Especially after Trump became president on catchphrases like MAGA and Fake News :deadrose:

I swear, y'all don't know shyt. This woman was on stage talking about how she doesn't support a living wage and still managed to win. That should tell you something about the voting base there. And why those ideas would not bring them around to voting for a Bernie-esque progressive candidate.

She was pandering to the business crowd is why...in Georgia that's always going to play.

Dems need to learn how to be pro-business. Obama was actually good at doing that which is why people in conservative areas voted for him. He was all about public/private partnerships which I believe help him win with the business crowd.

In some ways Cory Booker is trying to be that but he's such an empty suit so he won't get far...

I honestly don't understand some of you guys. Rob Quist received lots of support. Why does this piece of misinformation continue live and breath? And no offense, but some of you really need to take the time to look into these things instead of projecting your own beliefs onto them.

What? This was an R+8 district. Going further left there would result in an even bigger defeat. This is a rich, very white district.

@FAH1223

Could you not quote so many of Zaid Jilani's shytty tweets. He's a moron.
now now see here, if you look at the tea party republicans they all represent deep blue districts, so they are proof that you can win districts that oppose your political views by being even more hardcore in your own views. when you have the best political philosophy and solutions for all, you'll win.

oh and bernie is proof that you can advocate loudly for socialist policies while representing a racially diverse state. it shyts on the idea that white people can only like socialist policies in a homogeneous society.

that's what these twitiots would have you believe is the democrats problem right now. they can't win deep red districts because these conservative people want them to be more liberal.

Folks can spin this all they want, this wasn't a good look for the dems. Another publicized loss, despite Ossoff getting the support of the Dem establishment. Trump is doing victory laps on twitter right now.

Normally, a dem losing in a traditionally red seat shouldn't be too big of a deal. But with of the crazy shyt Trump and the Repubs have been doing and/or accused of doing for the past six months, only for the repubs to continue winning highly publicized seats...:ld:

Dems need to start getting big W's and soon, or else that resistance ain't gonna mean shyt come 2018.

What I find funny is how the appeal must be to suburban Republicans and never turning out your base and getting folks that don't bother voting to vote. It's like the debate is always between those you can expect to vote. Apathy towards politics is strong, folks. I mean I'm sure the base was engaged but folks that just say fukk it need to be tapped into.

Anybody got the turnout numbers for this election?
