Coach definitely did he said you have alot to work on… but the all great melo didnt wanna hear that which is why many of his counterparts have championships and accolades. Melo was basically a coddled baby who needed to be carried and have his hand held and praised to do a substandard job with minimal results underachieving is the only consistent thing in his career
He just was in the wrong era. If he drafted in 93 instead of 2003, the narrative around his career is entirely different.

He coached for multiple teams and a long period of time. Had melo been able to buy into a role the team wouldve been in a better place. Never did though
