To me personally I don't get the idea of these tell-all books. When you're a coach, you're supposed to be a father-figure and trusted advisor to your guys. Even if they reject you, I think it's fukked up to gossip and expose them, and denigrate them in this sort of fashion. The bond between a coach and player or player and player should be sacrosanct. Let's deal with the facts here. Melo never listens..He never does. Besides his flaws on the court Lebron Wade and Bosh urged him to sign a 3 yr deal so they can all be free agents and control their own destinies. What did Melo do? He went and signed for 6 yrs and took the max from the Nuggets like a dikk When he saw the whole decision shyt and seein them all control their own destinies and having the teams come to them then he got all mad but by then it was too tale. That nikka Melo is an analog shortsighted dude that never sees the big picture. He wanted to leave then cause he was mad he wasn't a free agent like Bron and them..

We all played ball and if you get in a situation where you are the best player surrounded by fodder as far as players and a coach.
You will do the same thing Melo was on in Denver.
Like real talk, Melo got them to the offs as far as he could.
He was never besting the Lakers because of coaching and he was never beating anyone else in that era because of roster and coaching.
as Denver was to small and also undermanned as far as of size interior based players.
So, Karl over achieved with Melo.
Like real talk,...if you watched the international games Karl coached and you are a superstar player.
