It's funny how Karl has always gone on and on about how great trading Melo was for him, yet the Nuggets never went farther than they did with Melo after the fact. Hell they didn't even win one playoff series.

I've disliked Karl for a long time, hands down the most overrated coach in NBA history.

I agree Karl is a snake but the only one of those guys that never had behavioural problems is Igoudala. I hold the sucker punch and the end of Linsanity over Melo, although Igoudala is a snitch.

Lin left to get more money . He went back to the rockets to suggest the poison pill contract after NYC said they'd match any offer . Melo didn't tell Lin to do that . Melo is and always has been a better player than Lin . Lin is the one who didn't want to play in the playoffs to preserve his knee for free agency

Anyone looking past Karl's "fatherless" statement and strictly looking at what he said about Melo's game/ability is suspect. To look at his statements about his game in a vacuum and ignore the racist undertones (and general douchebaggery) is disingenuous.

He's not wrong about a lot of players today being AAU babies who have been coddled nonstop. I played AAU ball and saw that shyt firsthand. Guys like Dwight Howard reek of that entitlement and weird inability to take control, accept fault or criticism, etc.

Only reason I can't go there is because he's done more for the Sonics, Bucks and Nuggets franchises probably more than any other coach in the league. He has definitely failed a lot but Karl can coach. Fisher was on some other stuff. A players coach who can't do anything beyond that.
