Geno Smith is 8th in league in QBR

Let me tell you the main reason why I have long been a supporter of him. Along with knowing how black quarterbacks are quickly discarded, he was given an extremely bad hand from a coaching, personnel, and beat coverage standpoint.

I went to many a Jets practices over the and saw him routinely out play Ryan Fitzpatrick only to see the newspaper scribes say completely different online or in the papers. Then the cism from Jets and Giants fans:

This guy literally Played with bums. Complete bums. Yet was written off and discarded as a has been after 28 games (Another reason why I give dumb ass Jets fans shyt for wanting to call Zach Wilson’s potential not even having 16 games as an NFL starter. Jets fans are generally stupid football fans). He long had better potential than Blake Borttles and others that got a longer leash. I hope he continues playing well and injury free to shut a lot of folks up and their lazy parrots.

He got a raw deal in NY. I watched Geno make throws only elite QBs could make. Yea he also had some headscratchers but he deserved an organization that knew and had the patience to develop QBs properly because his college tape didn't lie. He had great poise and gumption even in the big moments.

I watched a bunch of his completions from the Atlanta game. It wasnt a case of receivers running around open all day, dude was threading the needle on a good number of throws.

He did get dealt a bad hand from the start. All of his receivers from his rookie season were out of the league within the following year. But that's the curse of being drafted by the Jets.

Hope his success continues, happy for him.

He was terrible under pressure. As a jet fan, I hated that he ended up getting drafted there and started as a rookie. That jet team was garbage.

Crazy how Geno is still hated by Jets fans, but Fitzpatrick can choke away a playoff birth and people were still happy he got re-signed.

I posted all that I saw took place in New York. Are you refuting that? I said I hope he continues to play well. I didn’t say “this is it. He arrived.” But I spoke about my hope for him to play well. I got nothing against him at all but the shyt played out the way it played for him unfortunately
