until I listened to Dan Carlins pod cast on this I never gave Khan his due. Easily the gulliest man in history. Didn't they say the middle east is still recovering from the ass whoopin he put on the area? Europe lucked out becaues there was NOTHING that would have stopped them from marching all the way to the Atlantic, and as the Christians/Catholics in Europe at the time were on a very self important tip my bet is they would have attempted to fight it out and quite possibly been destroyed completely.

History is nuts that way.

I believe he annihilated Bagdad that seemingly was like one of the biggest cities in the world at the time and a economic/political/intellectual center. Khan levelled the place, and they basically had to build a whole new city.

I was in the Bangalore Airport recently and was blown away at how Black some South Indians look. There was one army guy manning a checkpoint with a legit beard that I kept doing a double-take on because I swore he could have passed for African anywhere in the world. Their media is hard-core colorist though so those guys never show up in their movies or on TV.

I wish I had taken pics with some of the brehs there because I can't find photos on the internet that do justice to what I was seeing in real life.
