Trumps proven to be teflon, but i think this botched coronavirus response might be the thing that does him in. And the repubs that enabled him might face the consequences as well.

I was on FB today for the first time in awhile and saw a number of people posting sh*t about "this is a Democrat plan to take down Trump in the election".....

I just got off of the phone with a good friend of mine. She is flying out to Colorado tomorrow for her daughter's baby shower and then flying out for a month when the kid is due in May. She is old and fat like me (mid 50s) but insisted that " this whole thing has been blown out of proportion" by the media. She is a Trump hater too.
I understand that this is important (she shows not signs of illness either) but I would have to believe that she thought twice about traveling to see her pregnant daughter at this time.
(on a side note she does work from home).

Other than that seems like everything else is pretty normal here. I did hear one of the persons with virus out here was at DIA in mid Feb.

I logged back on a few minutes ago (morbid curiosity?) and there are so many posts up there with people (many from Michigan) talking about how this is nothing more than a cold/flu, this is an attempt to smear Trump yet again, people are panicking unnecessarily, etc.

There's a meme of the lady/cat that I saw that reads "...it's a pandemic..." "...It's a Dem Panic..."




But let me make sure I understand this:

Socialism for unnecessary things like Healthcare is bad.
Socialism for necessary things like supporting the Farming industry because of frivolous tarriffs, Airlines, Cruises etc is totally legal, totally cool.

But hey, at least there's a chance that I may get a tax break of @ 7.5% (which I will then have to pay taxes on next year on my return)...



Maybe the rapture wouldn't be so bad?
