After reading Mary's book, it all makes sense to me. He's never really been nurtured, given proper guidance or discipline. He's nothing but a big ass kid that had a rich daddy who poured money into his incompetency while encouraging his ego at the same time.
I didn't need to read her book to know that. He's just a fool that was born into money. He's all bluster and promotion. What kinda business man files bankruptcy 7 times and the banks in his own country wouldn't touch him?
His whole political career was made off him preying on people dumber than him. He is a life long democrat that switched sides because he figured out how to exploit the racists, sexists, and bigots the republican party cultivated and nurtured for decades. "He said what they were thinking" but were too afraid to say due to the negative stigma of saying it. Since he has no shame he can say it. He is their Jesus, they worship him, follow him, and don't question him. Whatever he says is their gospel. He is a religion and his followers don't follow him for his political ideology (he has none really at this point) they follow him because he appeals to their sense of identity.
White supremacists can have Trump flags in their yard and virtue signal without getting the negative stigma that they would get otherwise.
