Yesterday, @PressSec said Trump’s remarking in Tulsa that he wanted to slow COVID-19 testing in response to a rising number of cases ”was a comment that he made in jest”

Today: POTUS says “With smaller testing we would show fewer cases”
Donald J. Trump

@realDonaldTrump
Cases are going up in the U.S. because we are testing far more than any other country, and ever expanding. With smaller testing we would show fewer cases!

Just now I asked the President if he was kidding when he said he told his people to slow down testing, which is how White House officials explained the comment.

He said, “I don’t kid.”

He also said again testing is a double-edged sword, and praised the job the U.S. has done.

Why aren't more people going in on Karen CACenany's press conference yesterday? I usually give her some credit for staying composed (even though she still lies and deflects like always), but this was her worst one yet.

"Why did the president say he wanted to slow down testing?"
"Uh... it was a joke?"
"But he just said a couple hours ago that it wasn't a joke."
"juelz.gif"

"Did the president have any involvement with Geoffrey Berman getting fired?"
"It was all up to AG Barr."
"But Barr said it was up to Trump."
"Well, it was up to Trump, but Barr took the lead on it. "
"So was Trump involved or not?"
"So Trump was involved in an overseeing capacity but it was Barr who took the lead. So Trump looked at it but the final decision was up to Barr who let trump have final approval."
""

"Why did the president use the racist term 'Kung Flu'?"
"B-b-but he was making a point about China!"
"But we're talking specifically about the term 'Kung Flu,' which many Asian Americans find to be racist"
"B-b-but CNN called it the 'Chinese Coronavirus' back in January!"
"We're not talking about China. We're talking about the term 'Kung Flu,' which even KellyAnne Conway said was a racist term."
"It's funny how the media criticizes the president for bringing up the origins of the coronavirus when CNN called it the 'Chinese Coronavirus' six months ago."
"bytch, we're talking about the term 'Kung Flu'!"
"Uh... Chanel?"

:russ:That bytch was so flustered yesterday, she didn't know what to do. She didn't want to say the wrong thing so she just ignored their questions. She probably downed a bottle of gin as soon as she left the press area. Regardless of how she tries to play it that bytch was dying inside.

Press Secretary has been doing this from the beginning with Spicy lying about the inauguration attendance. They lie, that's just what they do.

But what I'm saying is, she usually keeps a level of composure during her lies, but yesterday she just looked lost.

The only other one she did that was this bad was the one right after Trump said he was going to override the governors if they didn't reopen churches.

Imagine working as a full time sycophant for Trump.:hhh:

You can't contradict him. You can't disagree with him. You can't say something that he wouldn't say. You can't even subtly break from him in any way if you want to keep your place.

She's confident in her defense of Trump but you notice she has her book of "how to respond to the fake media when they point out Trumps lies and contradictions."

I would say Huckabeast (remember her?) Was better prepared to lie and deflect.

Dude....dude.......

You know, this Trunp saga is gonna end in some bizarre yet triumphant fashion. It might be him getting dragged out on election night refusing to accept his loss. Hell, last night I had a dream that the common men of all races, sick of this laissez faire anti-rights Donald Trump plutoracy, rose up, storms the White House and removes the President by force. But im starting to think Trumps own staff finally coming together and walking out on this guy in protest of his clearly self-interested attitude about people's lives and careers could be the anticlimactic ending here.

This guy is losing it. The chaos and behind-the-scenes communication meltdown is becoming visible. Trump will get a million people killed before he ever admits fault or error, but I think behind closed doors people are exhausted and tired of supporting this guy.
