I'm so sick of the Times. All they do is downplay trump's bullshyt every step of the way and they've been doing it for a decade now.

"Falsehoods." Grow the fukk up and call them the lies they are. They aren't "falsehoods," they're lies.

Despite UAW leadership’s historically sour relationship with President Donald Trump, the union backed his proposed 25% tariff on imports from Mexico and Canada and spoke out against the harm it says unrestricted free trade has had on US workers.

“Tariffs are a powerful tool in the toolbox for undoing the injustice of anti-worker trade deals,” the union said in a statement. “We are glad to see an American president take aggressive action on ending the free trade disaster that has dropped like a bomb on the working class.”

"These actions will allow the company to operate more efficiently and in a more cost competitive way for the current market environment," the company said in a statement. "We believe that, once President Trump’s policies take full effect and automotive production is re-shored, we should be able to resume steel production at Dearborn Works."

This is just straight up horseshyt corporate speak for "we're cutting jobs to maximize profits, but if the political landscape shifts in our favor, we might consider bringing them back," which will never happen. Trump's weak-ass policies aren't going to lead to re-shoring. And just like last time, he's going to hand these corporations massive tax cuts with no strings attached, which will give them even more incentive to keep jobs overseas.

We got people on here that have been doing the same for years. Only difference is they been doing it for free.

Very inhumane video op. I said it with Luigi, with the CEO who got shot, and with the Chris Rock OJ Joke. "I am not saying it was right, but I understand." if she was at some point, to experience assault and violence... people can point to this picture, and not feel a sense of empathy even for the worse crimes that happened to her.

10,000 Federal Health Dept. Workers to Be Laid Off

The layoffs are part of a major restructuring at the health department, which now employs about 82,000 people.

The Trump administration on Thursday announced a massive layoff of 10,000 employees at the Health and Human Services Department, as part of a dramatic reorganization designed to bring communications and other functions directly under the purview of Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

The layoffs, reported earlier by The Wall Street Journal, are a drastic reduction in personnel for the health department, which now employs about 82,000 people. Together with previous layoffs, the move will bring the department down to about 62,000, the agency said.

The restructuring will include creating a new division called the Administration for a Healthy America, which Mr. Kennedy said will go by the acronym A.H.A. “We’re going to do more with less,” he said, even as he acknowledged it would be “a painful period for H.H.S.”

The 28 divisions of the health agency will be consolidated into 15 new divisions, according to a statement issued by the department. Mr. Kennedy announced the changes in a YouTube video.

Mr. Kennedy’s department touches the lives of every American. Through its various agencies — including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Food and Drug Administration and the National Institutes of Health — it regulates drugs, monitors food safety, tracks infectious disease and conducts biomedical research.

All of those agencies have campuses outside of Washington and tend to operate under their own authority, and Mr. Kennedy has been at odds with all of them. Mr. Kennedy assailed them, and other parts of the department, in his video.

“When I arrived, I found that over half of our employees don’t even come to work,” he claimed. “H.H.S. has more than 100 communications offices and more than 40 I.T. departments and dozens of procurement offices and nine H.R. departments. In many cases, they don’t even talk to each other. They’re mainly operating in the silos.”

That's not a lot of employees considering their roles and responsibilities. I find it crazy they only have 100k, which is why we have so many tax invaders
