These people don’t live in the same reality as the rest of us. I know someone who is pulling in probably 500k annually—single guy too no family, so he doesn’t worry about money at all at this point. He grew up poor. I heard him claim the other day that you can afford a 350k mortgage on a 50k salary. He wasn’t making any political points in saying this and the guy is on the left, he was just talking about something related and ended up saying that. Of course everyone checked him and he thought about it and was like ohhh yeah nevermind I’m wrong. And this guy is humble enough to realize he was wrong. These folks are richer and even more detached. They have no interest in helping normal people or even serving their country well. Ugh. This world is a disgusting place
