Look, blame it on bipartisan laziness, but DORMANT PARTS OF IMMIGRATION LAW being used against non-citizen protestors shouldn’t surprise you. I don’t support expelling these people but this is a causalty of trump being elected. This is like neglecting to codify Roe vs Wade and letting Trump put anti-abortion judges on the SCOTUS and do what both sides agreed wouldn’t be done. These laws always existed but weren’t enacted.
Trump’s potential 3+ term is an issue for CITIZENS, not non-permanent residents.
