My breh.
If you are a real and sincere person, at the very least you need to humble yourself
Humble myself in what way? Should I stop criticizing the evil actions the Trump administration is committing? Take it easier on Elon Musk? Or is this really about stopping me from criticizing the Democratic Party for their failures to fight on our behalf? Because y'all only started coming out of the woodwork when I criticized the Biden Administration. Be precise now and identify the positions I currently espouse that I need to be more humble about.
“I believe Trump is the candidate who will most likely lead to domestic and foreign emancipation of black people”
Is by far the WORST take anyone could make on American politics the last decade or so
I can find multiple worse takes in the past year alone. For example:
Gaza stan’s punching air right now
Maybe y’all should change his name to “kinda genocide joe” or “soft genocide joe”…..”maybe genocide joe”…
This was the worst moral crime committed by the United States government in the span of time we're talking about you're on record as mocking the people protesting against it while trying to do hand-wave away the culpability of the President responsible for it. Perhaps you think supporting a fukking genocide is a lesser crime than thinking Trump represented a bigger paradigm shift than Hillary Clinton that the black polity - both domestic and foreign - could take advantage of. I do not. Even if my take was dead wrong, I do not.
Obviously nobody is correct 100% of the time. You maybe made some bad calculations in the past.
But if you’ve been THAT wrong about a topic in the past. You should probably try to STFU humble yourself and learn a bit, before you jump out the window with more strong and stubborn takes on the topic.
I've been wrong on many topics, including aspects of this one. And I have been challenged by smart posters about it and readily admitted fault when warranted. It's a weaker argument in hindsight, but such is often the case with comparative prognostications that are now being judged against counterfactuals, which is what is happening to be clear. Yes, maybe Hillary Clinton would have created the conditions for Medicare for All and reparations to be enacted, and pursued a policy of nationalization of natural resources for the AU nations. But to be honest, and I don't mean this disrespectfully at all, I don't believe you or the other posters harping on this are qualified to adjudicate my argument here because you don't have the prerequisite knowledge base or basic understanding of the argument. Like, I don't think you even understand what parts of my argument are wrong and why they are wrong. You and other posters have continuously misconstrued the argument beyond any reasonable reading of good will. Which is fine, shytposting is an artform, I respect it too. But you can't have it both ways. Either get funnier with the shytpost trolling or get smarter if you want to have serious discussion.
And for the record, my strong and stubborn take on this topic - as it has been since soon after he got elected, which is why people are stuck quoting my posts from a decade ago - is that Trump is mostly an inhumane war criminal and a malignant domestic influence on this country and should be eradicated from our social and political fabric because he is promoting an inhumane political agenda. Is that too strong and stubborn?
NOBODY here takes anything you say seriously anymore. You got a long way to go in building credibility before anyone here will respect anything you have to say.
Get your shyt together my foreign breh
Yeah it really makes me sad that I'm not taken seriously by the posters who just spent the better part of a year whitewashing a genocide because they have a parasocial relationship with the Blue Team aiding and abetting it. I assure you I will work harder to obtain the respect and credibility of these posters. Hopefully another 10 years of good behavior will get me early parole.
