I said this when they first arrested Mahmoud Khalil, these illegal and unconstitutional actions against lawful legal residents of the United States is the biggest authoritarian red line that has been crossed to date by this Administration. I hope you guys will get the house and senate back asap but let's no be too optimistic. The courts fukkery and voter suppression that Trump and co are on, are guaranteed to take a bite out of the Dem electorate.

Also, it's obvious race plays a role that goes in the way of succesful class policies. As long as white people (white women specifically) strongly vote for Repubs against their best interests, y'all will never have a safe bet vote IMO.

Imo the senate is a lost cause for a decade + or more due to moderate corrupt candidates ruining both NY/California.. they both accelerated the destruction of both to damn near completely undesirable locations from both an housing and jobs market standpoint which has led to the great migration. This migration crisis will additionally hurt obtaining the house in the 2030s and eventually the presidency . Newsome/cuomo have both done significant harm to the coastal democrat brand
