My only point is voting and voting hard isn't going to reverse this. Thats not how a functioning democracy works.

Erdogan holds elections every 7 years in Turkey. He wins every time. Even Sadaam Hussein held elections every 7 years and always won. America--with its low levels of civic engagement, political education and how insanely difficult it is to be upwardly mobile--isn't far off from those places.

We need to be properly involved and angry at the state of this country and demand change and only support those who are in line with that.
