i know that it seems like fukkery now, but it's worth keeping in mind that there's a universe where;
-zelensky ends it
-the republicans pass trump's tax cut
-he talks shyt about tariffs, and other countries back down
-states/the electorate don't miss losing a few thousand government jobs
-the economy reacts well, and hiring picks up
is my money on all this happening? no, but it's possible
and even if most of this shyt happens, it could mostly be over by october '26. Dems need a tangible backup besides "trump is a fukkup"

Putin won’t end the war. Russia is on a war economy and their markets will collapse if it ends. There will be hundreds of thousands of mentally scarred unemployed young men on Russian streets and people will ask what was accomplished and why Russia has the bill for cleaning up Eastern Ukraine. Russia won’t stop until Ukraine is destroyed because they can’t stop.
Where’s the money coming from for this? The bill is due for the last round of cuts as to why they are threatening Medicaid and social security and military funding.
What are his demands? Back down from what? He hasn’t articulated what he wants done.
States are going to be up to their eyeballs in law suits and paying out pensions and wrongful termination suits. Let’s say people don’t care about the largest employer in the country the US government firing their family members, the financial compensation is going to happen.
The job market is already full.
Trump is so abrasive and disgusting he’d have to go perfect from the field even then I think the Repubs lose in 26.is my money on all this happening? no, but it's possible
