objectively speaking here; i just don't know how much political goodwill/anger the Dems can gin up, outside of blue virginia, over federal employees losing their jobs

you know what the average voter's experience with government jobs is? going to the DMV. and everybody knows that it's impossible to fire government employees, unions lead to zero accountability, working from home while governments were shutting down small business during covid; they're generally just not a sympathetic group of workers right now, post-pandemic

there's a way to attack Elon and Trump on this, but i don't know :patrice: good luck, Democrats

The first ones to shyt on government workers are government workers. A lot of em got a disdain for their co-workers at large. These propaganda machines could easily find several "insiders" to fuel their hate, fraud, waste, etc articles/narratives (with most of the info being untrue, just outta spite, a lot of 'well i heard this guy got 40 days off with pay just cause' type rumors)

And the hate is usually fueled by 1) 1 or 2 problem childs that are protected by the union.... 2) micro management from middle management....and 3) beind understaffed.

I agree that Trump/Right Wing media could very easily amplify the seed of overpaid government workers that provide you poor services. People want to believe and feed that type of shyt.

You really underestimate how many conservative voters not only work government jobs but rely on those fed workers, departments, and contracts.

Look at the republican town halls over the past couple of weeks and understand this is just the very tip of the iceberg.

Places like San Antonio and Oklahoma City are being hit hard by this. Of the ten states with the most military bases seven of them are red states (6 of them are conservative strongholds)

if i'm underestimating it, then i'll be wrong :yeshrug: the public en masse will get mad at trump and elon for firing government workers. Dems will have a great talking point going into 2026

All facts, but yall may be giving too much credit to those people. Almost like they're incapable of learning even if they've felt fire, and spilled blood. Especially if they are given a boogeyman to direct their woes, anger, spite, and grievances to.

Bush-Cheney sent husbands, fathers, sons, brothers, and the et ceteras to die, kill, get PTSD, etc............got exposed and confirmed as lying/fabricating to start the war..........and these same type of voters yall talking about voted to re-elect them in higher numbers than they did in 00.

:francis: we only in day 33 or so of the bullshyt......plenty of time for voters to "forget" how their neighbors were gutted and by whom.

i know a lot of redneck cacs because of my work / area of living and i haven't heard any of them complain regarding the firings--so I doubt it is affecting many trump voters tbh, past few years they complained about specifically the shyt that ended up winning him the election

Yes I did. Went to one of her rallies. Encouraged everyone I knew to register to vote. Debated people on here and in my personal life tirelessely about the dangers of a 2nd Trump term and Project 2025. I was pragmatic and genuinely wanted harm reduction.
Similar to you I talked it over with people irl

Begrudgingly voted for her. I figured this was one of those times when lesser evil voting was valid. I think I was right still

Why do some say I can’t criticize the democratic leadership and act as if Jefferies, Schumer and the rest are above reproach? I voted for them after all

Btw there are some Biden dikkriders in here that acted like they weren’t gonna vote for anyone else but him if he was forced out, that are now chastising, judging and vote shaming but that’s okay we don’t forget
