Exactly and that is why you have to get away from people like David Axelrod and James Carville and even Obama and Clinton.

Cause the rules are gone and they're never coming back.

And no one is going to convince me otherwise and you're much better served not listening to them at all
I think that era of politics is officially done. The Democratic establishment may still be disillusioned but they are in for a rude awakening. It's only been a month into Trump's 2nd term and things are only going to get more extreme from here. Trump is positioning himself to be a dictator. It looks chaotic from the outside looking in but that is all apart of their strategy. And people are soon going to start realizing just how severe of a situation this is for our country.

No one is going to think the same about politics in 2026, much less 2028. Radical change will be necessity.

this is wishful thinking and shortsighted in many ways.

In order for government to function bipartisanship must exist and norms have to be respected.

Voters may like the populist rhetoric but a month into the Trump administration what we are seeing is more and more people not supporting a radical reshaping of the government.

No need to guess on it though, we have two years to see how much they like it.

Did either of you enthusiastically vote for Kamala Harris?
Yes I did. Went to one of her rallies. Encouraged everyone I knew to register to vote. Debated people on here and in my personal life tirelessely about the dangers of a 2nd Trump term and Project 2025. I was pragmatic and genuinely wanted harm reduction.

Ok. Just checking. I even had the Harris/Walz hat.
