First, I don't know what you're referring to when you say "the left coalition", because actual leftists weren't in charge of the Harris campaign. Not trying to relitigate recent history, but the fact of the matter is that the Harris campaign was controlled by centrist Democrats who purposely and explicitly chose to alienate the political left and court the center and center-right. That's the campaign and coalition that lost to Trump. The 5-D chess argument is a typical left-bashing canard used by crypto-conservatives, but it doesn't even apply here because the people on the left that you're mad at were operating with complete binary reasoning by holding genocide as a red line. Either oppose genocide to get my support or continue supporting genocide and lose my support. No 5-D chess. No hifalutin, esoteric, multifarious request. Just pledge to stop sending arms to the people committing a genocide. That's as binary as it gets, and used to be considered the lowest of bars, but this election proved that many people within and in charge of the Democratic coalition have completely desiccated moral (and political!) compasses. That's why the Democratic coalition lost to Trump. They have no soul or heart. There's no blood pumping through the party.
