Actually no he isn't, that is usually the civilians at the Pentagon who are eager for war for their own profit and benefit.

Military leaders don't have the final say so in war, just an advisory role, that includes the Joint Chiefs.
Trump's new defense chief's history as a Boeing executive is raising concerns, but he's not the only one with deep military-industrial ties

I know article is old but still you guys honestly think military leaders don't want to profit off war? :russ::mjlol:. Even the current SecDef is a former lobbyist for a military contractor.

They probably also own a bunch of stocks just like members of Congress.

Your links support what they are saying 100%.

The SecDef and everyone else mentioned in your link is a civilian. They are businessmen, Trump's people that HE put into government from the corporate side. They are the exact people that we are saying push the wars.

Those people aren't military leadership. The generals don't have nearly the corporate ties that the defense lobbyists do; in fact if they're active then I don't believe they're allowed to have any at all. Some of them might be warmongerers, but they don't make the decisions, the civilian leadership, Trump and his men, do that. They are the ones who profit.

Those generals leave government and work for these same companies. There exists a sick incestous relationship between the military and private contractors. Trump wasn’t wrong to call out the military industrial complex, but he did it for petty, hypocritical and stupid reasons. After all, he has been bragging non stop about increasing military spending for the last three years .

They cant go corporate n get their deals till after retirement. Trump is on one today. You can have officers give advice but at the end of the day it’s civilians that make these decisions. This is another temper tantrum. I had my issues with Obama but he would never act like this, not in a thousand years. Trump is the dumb version of Andrew Jackson, completely unhinged.
