first of all, shutting down the government doesnt crash the economy did it in 2019?

republicans have to take overt, targeted steps to do whatever it is you think they're capable of doing. they cant just "decide to crash the economy" and win politically. thats asinine

With the upcoming Moore v Harper decision I'm not too confident on that either. I think we've successfully been coup'd. I pray I'm wrong but things aren't actually looking too good. The only positive thing is the changes in demographics taking place across the country and more young people being able to vote. People are really going to have to show up at the voting booths come 2024.


Agreed. People don't get it. All the Republicans care about is power. And these people have played the long game. This is a multi-generational project to return the country to where we were pre-1965. I don't think they'll be successful. But they have definitely set themselves up to have the legal means to do so.
