I think we'd just like this sub-forum to go a different way
but I digress...

actually you regress to the whole damn point of this thread.
is he right?Do like AHH and put all race/gay and religion threads in a subforum. Then watch as KTL become a ghosttown like Dj's.
But seriously folks, what you're missing here is these people are using KTL as a brainwash project for extreme liberalism. They really dont care about alot of the issues going on as long as they can bash someone elses beliefs in reverence of something demonic and you know what, that really burns my britches. This place will be so dead without giving demons an outlet to trash God and exalt filth. Look at the threads that actually you know talk about stuff, EMPTY, minus my posts and a few others.
and who was it that mentioned me and made me aware of this thread?

Sorta. I parlay with like minded folk all the time, very rarely does the asshatery from these boards surface. Just saying we should strive for at least some civility while mudslinging fukkery. For those willing to listen there's a lot of perspective here. Maybe it's the father in me, maybe it's that i've always been socially active but i see this venue as having a lot of potential as a resource and possibly a vehicle for change...if only on a personal level.
There are other like minded people out there, young cats, who like hip hop and are in serious need of either direction, encouragement, or simply support...yeah fuk it i went there
All i'm sayin is be better than a fukin troll.
Let me ask you something....
Would you ever support a HL scholarship fund? Because honestly that's where this shyt needs to go...
god damn there are some days i just feel like delete your posts
twas i. Just saying you didn't digress by wanting to talk about the forum's direction, that's what this thread is about...or is now

and how else is it gonna change? i'm not even talking about banning just actually modding with a goal in mind maybe? Right now this is a troll haven disguised as a place of thought exchange. That can change . There are other people who read HL, I see them reading but not posting. How might that change if this place were NOT what it is but what it could be.Okay. It's not going to happen with the makeup of posters here unless you started strictly banning people and deleting threads for fukkery. But then you would only have like 5 people posting here. It is what it is.
i'm just now catching thatthe joke was that I was "digressing" by trying to have a serious conversation about it with the troll
maybe. Moreso though the community should try and do that. Agreed upon standards is what we need. Agreed upon standards.
Mowgli is extremely correct but the mods should really try to start meaningful discussions.

Trolling begets more trolling. All it takes is one to derail an entire decent thread. I can't recall how many times there's a decent topic and some derails the whole thing with gibberish.
Now you can say people are at fault for feeding s, but this is a debate forum and often s make arguments in the process of trolling so naturally people rebut them because they're debating. I think a better approach would be to put the onus of responsibility on the s when they start trolling and address them for it instead of just saying don't respond because somebody will inevitably respond and then the thread takes a whole new derailed life. Go after the :trolls:s, not the people returning fire. Trolling is cancerous.
