Elon really dumb as fukk. I GET his plan to make money, but even he knows Twitter isn't ready yet to make money his way... they need Advertising dollars. So he is bringing back the right-wing to appease his right-wing fanbase, but clearly he is too disconnected from what the United States is, it's very divided at the moment... and if your choosing one side then your not going to be liked on the other.
