A younger Eugene Deal was on Vh1 Crime Scene back in the early 2000's saying some of the same stuff he said on the documentary but less detailed



His credibility really can't be questioned.

At 9:45 the police is saying Puff wasn't interested in answering any questions

at 10:00 Gene was saying Biggie didn't want to go to the party because his legs was hurt and Puff begged him to go

In the documentary Gene even refutes Cease's claim at 3 mins in about Cease saying they were driving on the curb.

Gene, Fam, you really threw me up in this like that? I mean this is your moment and tell your truth, but call me if your unclear of anything concerning my name Brother. There was absolutely no murky financial exchange or any money paid to anyone for any appearances at the Vibe Qwest Records party that night. I actually paid for the party 100% by way of my client at the time Tanqueray. They sponsored the event and it was absolutely free to invited celebrities and their guests. That's why you see the Tanqueray banners in some of the pictures from that night. I also did not speak to Puff that entire weekend. I also didn't even know BIG was in town still that weekend until Uncle Pauly came and grabbed me out of Jerry's Deli the Thursday before Soul Train to come to the car because BIG wanted to talk to me. I understand your doing this off top from memory, but to put me out there like that is crazy. And for anyone reading this that would try to twist my words, I am not accusing Gene of lying in his documentary, the Brother has always been honest and good people to me. I am just clarifying an idea he may have had concerning my presence that night and sharing facts concerning my participation at the event.
