I think there’s a difference between adopting manosphere view points and going full balls deep into them. I’ll never understand why a young black men would actually go into these spaces when they know good and well that they wouldn’t be in good company, but I can definitely understand why a few may adopt the view points. I’ve never watched any of these podcasts, and I don’t plan to, but I’d imagine it’s better than hearing different flavors of “it’s your fault” or “just go outside”
The manosphere spaces arent exactly welcoming unless you’re a white guy, but the other side isn’t exactly welcoming either lol. I personally think the shyt women say and do on the internet is far more radicalizing than any Andrew Taint or Fresh and Fit.
I know the common response is to “just go outside” but the internet and the aftermath of the pandemic has removed most incentive for these dudes to go outside. It’s not even just the porn. Some chronically online, incel-leaning, GenZ’er can watch a viral tiktok about how a woman gives any guy that approaches her a nasty look and gets 300k+ comments agreeing with her and anyone disagreeing gets a “WOMP WOMP” or “cry about it”
Black men voted for Harris more than any other race of men in the nation and we STILL got attacked. White men voted for Trump more than anyone but WOC will still worship the ground they walk on. Speaking of, women’s side of social media is more or less female 4klan. Complete with the off-base statistic spamming, white worship (replace female with male), shockingly high amount of narcissism, and comments/post that should realistically land them on some sort of watchlist.

just "go outside and talk to women" talk doesn't get we live in a soft polygamist society. Women will share the best men or even share charismatic bums so you still getting sized up and compared to other men when you go outside. No one answers the questions of "how do I improve my social skills if I am bad with women or just anxious around people in general?" You just get a flippant "i dunno man just figure it out, your parents should have taught you that". Just decriminalize sex work and normalize buying sex for men who can't get none. Government jobs for cybersecurity and infastructure and probably some form of UBI too. Women made their choice and they mostly want soft polygamy and soft lesbianism so the country needs to adjust.

I'd say it really started with "core millennials" (b. 1986-1993), tho black gen x'ers in inner cities dealt with an earlier version of this dynamic. I'm 35 this year and I've watched tommy sotomayor, donovan sharpe, etc. and I'm liberal. I've wanted to see America burn and I'm 6'3' and handsome gang. this problem is deeper than yall think

I think the whole “just approach her” advice is just mindless fluff that they say without thinking.
People like the idea that everyone should just do sensible thing A, B, and C. It’s like when people suggest that you do volunteer work to make yourself more attractive to employers, it more than likely won’t have that affect, but the advice wasn’t given to help. It’s to further the “Just World Fallacy” outlook of the person saying it.
Most guys (and sometimes even women) who tell you to approach know good and well that randomly approaching a woman in this day and age isn’t a good idea unless you look like a supermodel or you’ve got talent-level social skills that could turn the most awkward conversation ever into a win. And they also know the average Gen Z’er has neither of these, but seeing you reject their advice confirms to them that you’re not actually trying or looking to improve yourself, and you deserve what you (don’t) get.
Same thing with the “try to be her friend first” advice, and approaching during conventions.
