Nobody has to make an excuse for a 2 year old game released on another console. Getting a PS5 version wasn't a factor in the purchase. Sure it would be nice for Sony to go the extra mile and give the remaster to existing customers but nobody that bought Spider-Man can make the argument that they didn't get what they paid for.Series X or a Halo delay had nothing to do with a gears purchase.

As for added content, plenty are working on shyt from Ori to Sea of thieves, Halo MCC and new super lucky's tale still evolving adding, basically remastering. Whenever you want to stop just say it cuz there's more...
an "added bonus" you have to pay for, as part of a cross-gen "standalone expansion"
