Thats how I see it too. In regards to @thekingsmen point about teachers doing the same thing - Teachers have a duty to their students and to the integrity of the school system. I don't think its an accurate comparison. With that said, a little bit off topic but, the special ed teacher from Mass shouldn't have been fired. Her special needs 2nd graders and the rest of the elementary school have no clue wtf she's doing either way. If she was in high school, it would be a different story + her pics weren't really porn.

Doesn't matter wither it's teacher or student or vice versa. It becomes a problem when other students know of the matter and it spirals out of control with rumors, fights etc. There was a story years ago about a teacher that did porn( one movie) way before she became a teacher....it bit her in the ass as her past ran up to her. The students talked and the school admin fired her. Was it fair? No but choices like that lead to consequences.

Oh I agree with you on that. This kid had it coming to him. High school is all drama and he should have expected the consequences. I'm just saying a student making a porn is different than a teacher. Teacher have a duty to uphold the integrity of the school system. Students really don't. Teachers are like a business and the student is the client. Clients can do what they want but the business has to come correct.

Right but just like I mentioned that the teacher who was fired over a porn year before she began a teacher was still unfair because it had nothing to do with the school or the students.

Gotcha. I'm 50/50 on that situation. While I agree that her life before becoming a teacher shouldn't have any effect on her career, she won't be able to hold credibility or integrity for her position when that tape comes up. If one of my teachers had a porno out, people would be passing it around all day and cracking jokes and harassing her. Having her stay at the school would be counter productive as her porno days would always be at the forefront and education would be a distant second.
