I'm against any group getting discriminated against for doing something that is not directly or indirectly harming anyone else. I do think that its only fair that gays should have equal access and benefits from their partner under governmental law, but I'm not in line with the idea that we should force religious institutions to practice something that goes against their teachings. If gays are to be unified under the law, let it be that. The term marriage is very loaded and associated between a female and male with a religious ceremony.

These guys are anti-religion and anti-gay rights.

When a Trayvon Martin type of story happens to a gay white kid then maybe they might have something. But we know that doesn't happen with them. Being a gay white male still guarantees that you'll get treated better than most non-white people.

I support gay equality on principle, but the shaming of the black community never comes off well even though legally the strife is kinda similar.

Weak comparisons don't count. The Trayvon Martin case was an egregious injustice.

The Shepard case involved drug trading. However, that aspect of the story is conveniently glossed over for someone like him.
