The left in 2003:

Al-Qaeda is made up and exaggerated, just an excuse to expand the military-industrial complex.

The left in 2017:

The U.S. Government is in bed with AL-QAEDA, the biggest threat facing Western civilization today.

Everyone should calm down. Russia has been forced to re-adjust.

THIS IS GOOD NEWS FOR AMERICA.

Now they're seeing that the USA is taking the outcomes seriously.

Moscow has been shaken.

I consider this a win for the moment.

Pump the breaks. Trump warned Russia about the attack. So personnel was evacuated. Second Russia is doubling down. The Russian MOD said they are gonna send more AA missiles to strength Syria aerial defense further. That means they will create an A2/AD multi layer air defense kind like what Russia, China and Iran has. Do you even know what A2/AD means?
And thirdly Russia said they will send more forces into Syria. That means jets. All this strike did was made Russia and Iran double down to support Assad and making it harder for any future for any intervention. Trump basically sent a symbolic message. Russia will support Assad further. They will crush the rebellion brutally with conventional weapons.

Fake news. Fake news. You sound like a Nineteen Eighty-Four character.

Those missiles didn't even hit the runways :francis:

Russian state media is well known for their journalistic accuracy and independence. They've never been misleading with footage before.

Imagine hating MSNBC/CNN and uncritically believing Russian videos of air-strikes :heh:

 @ Lavrov "US actions not irreparable"

His full quote

"It is reminiscent of the situation in 2003, when the US, the United Kingdom with its few allies invaded Iraq without Security Council approval, in gross violation of international law," Lavrov said in Uzbekistan.

"Now they did not even bother to provide any facts, referring only to photographs and again speculating on the photos of children, and of course on the testimony of various non-governmental organizations… to provoke actions against the Syrian government," Lavrov said.

"I do not know when we will happen to learn the whole truth on how decisions were made to attack Syria in this situation, but I think that of course the truth must be demanded, and we will do this," he said.

"The strikes were delivered without waiting for an inspection visit, without waiting for an investigation. It seems that they wanted to diver attention from the same Jabhat al-Nusra," Lavrov said.

"All this causes damage to the already undermined relations between Russia and the United States, but I hope these provocations will not lead to irreversible results," the minister said.

"I hope that they will be put to shame, although of course we will draw our own conclusions for our future relations," he said.

I eagerly await contrary evidence.

MSNBC/CNN is propaganda. So is Russian State media. I just await Western media attempts to disprove Russian state media
