You could've just posted this in the other thread you made:manny:

Gary Russell Jr would love to be in the position that Adrien Broner is right now. I dont take people serious when they would do they same thing, if they could make the same thing:camby:

Man Breh we may know each other...I'm cool with some of the bandcamp dudes especially Luck and tweez...We probally know each other...you from west side?

You said this before breh:heh:

Im in Cleveland.....just found out about the young boy AB back in the days through the local news up here and the Plain Dealer:manny:

I love Ohio fighters and I started following him. It actually started off with me paying attention to the Bey Brothers. Then Raushee Warren, Raynell Williams, then AB, Willie Nelson, and Im forgetting somebody....but that's what it is.

Thanks to Aaron Pryor, I fell in love with Ohio boxing talent and always keep my eyes on em. Trying to support the local homies:salute:

Kelly Pavlik, Shawn Porter, Buster Douglas, Ray "Boom Boom" Mancini, etc = #OhioPlayaz

I think you forgetting Tim Austin, but I could be wrong since I'm not from your region.

Behind You
Cant be bad at it if 1.4 million people are tuning in to watch you fight Gavin Rees, 1.3 million people tuning in to watch you fight Paulie Malignaggi, 1.3 million are tuning in to watch you fight Marcos Maidana, and you're getting paid 1.25 million to fight Carlos Molina as the opening act of the PPV:whew:

He's doing exactly what he has to do to keep his name ringing bells.:yeshrug:

Is there any black fighter, outside of Floyd Mayweather Jr, that has a bigger name in boxing than Adrien Broner? I dont think so, so obviously he's doing something right:manny:
His act is working now but just because people pay to watch him get beat up. After that happens a few more times (and it will ) then the attention will dry up because it won't be worth anything anymore.
Watching a loudmouth get beat up 2 or 3 times is hilarious but seeing it happen for the 100th time is not fun or funny. Its just sad and that is the future Acting Buffoonish has to look forward to.

Nah, I think at WORST, he'll be the new Zab Judah and by that I mean he will be around forever.

As long as he keeps his "name" up, he'll always be a good name to have on people's resume if he just falls off today.............which he wont:ufdup:

Only thing is keeping them out the streets.....and it's very hard, because alot of our people (even those that live in the burbs) were RAISED in the hood and just so happened to move out. It's rare for me to run across anyone from Cleveland who lived their entire life in the burbs that's black, so we stay attached to that "life" or that line of thinking.

That's why I always tell people that AB aint nothing new to me, he's just a local Cleveland/Cinncy/Toledo/Dayton/Akron hood dude that made it big:manny:. Everybody from the hood has an "Adrien Broner" in their crew. It's just that he's publicized:yeshrug:

Your right A lot of us are/were in the streets that's just the way it is...I literally had to up and join the military to get away from that shyt...I ain't gone to say that works for everybody but I do think dudes need to leave home for at least a few years before they are forced to leave home...that's the only way you will see a different lifestyle.
