He's very powerful and high ranking but they're overdoing it with the sentencing and where they placed him. He's dangerous but he doesn't belong in a supermax with Terrorist and serial killers
When u go to supermax, u usually deserve it. I don't feel sorry for them. But I do think they should just execute them. I remember reading about a Mexican Mafia trial here in cali. It was no doubt these dudes were guilty and would never be released. And they managed to get orders out of the most secure unit in the state(SHU @Pelican Bay), out to the streets of Southern Cali. Yet California doesn't want to execute anyone. Shyt is. Pelican Bay is damn near in Oregom, yet Criminals can control the streets from a Jail Cell in a supermax unit. I dont know what more u can do w/ people like that. They ended up sending them to ADX. Feds dont seem to wanna execute people either.
If they're so dangerous put them down. If you're going to isolate people you can at least allow them outside. 23 hours in a cell is ridiculous. These anti death people don't want blood on their hands but you don't have to kill someone to get bloody. What they're doing to these prisoners is just as bad.
It's pointless. The death penalty is at this point too expensive to maintain or even use. Besides they make more money off of him alive than dead. They lose more money like that killing him. Only time they will start using the death penalty again is for political reasons.
Exactly. Then u get a situation like Tookie Williams. It was clear that when he was executes, he had actually been rehabilitated. He was no longer the person u incarcerated. And they killed him. You woulda thought they would at least commute his sentence to life. Sh1t makes zero sense. He could have done a lot more alive.
Whose to say where he belongs? Do u know what he was doing inside? Usually drug dealers try to run drugs inside tge institution as well. Serial Killers are usually food for inmates like this guy. He's charismatic, physically imposing and a high ranking memeber of a notorious gang. He's more of a candidate for Supermax than a Serial Killer.

I just feel supermax should be reserved for extremely dangerous criminals on a national security level. Ra Diggs isn't a threat to everyday citizens. He's not going to plot to blow some shyt up. He might still move drugs from his cell, but there's alternatives to supermax. That's like stabbing someone in the head for stepping in your shoe.

My guess is somewhere in there after or before his conviction, there were threats or the talk of threats to the proseceutors, the witnesses, the judge, and their families. That is a quick way to get sent to ADX, in addition to his other convictions and criminal history. I know Francisco Javier Arellano Felix, before his cooperation agreement leaked was in ADX Florence.
